I'm typing in HTML - somewhat impressed with myself - but at the same time slightly annoyed with Blogger that I can't click between pictures to add info. So here goes. The first pic is from last Wednesday when I met Kristen for a Rueben minus the sauerkraut (is it still a Rueben then?), Guinness and Harpoon Summer at Tommy Doyle's. We were joined by some previous co-workers, some of my favorites, as we moved to the outdoor patio to unwind. The other pictures are from last weekend. They include a Saturday beach trip from Chatham to Falmouth to celebrate Kelley's bachelorette party, a shot of Tony's big catch from his fishing charter and some pics from the Whites' (Ethan's in-laws) gorgeous home in Chatham, complete with matching tattoos.

Showering Al
A few weekends ago we celebrated Al's wedding shower at the Fox and Hound in Quincy. It was so nice to catch up with these ladies!
I'm very lucky to have Jocelyn, Kristen, Al and Shannon in my life. With the exception of Joce (we were college roommates), I met and befriended these ladies after college. You know, when it's harder to make new friends and you think there may not be enough time, patience or energy to make new girlfriends. That's when I met this crew. And I'm so lucky I did!
We are really looking forward to celebrating Al's wedding to Jason in early September!
We did it up for Kristen's bachelorette party,
wedding shower
and destination wedding in Mexico.
We spent time at numerous work events,
and celebrated St. Ralph's Day(s),
birthdays and pregnancies,
and births.

Alderbrook Farm
As I was updating the blog and thinking of other things going on in the Musante house, I remembered Jill's recent trip with her day care to Alderbrook Farm in Dartmouth. Tyla and Hillary took the kids to Family StoryWalk on July 3 and they loved it!
Zoo Trip
Last Monday my Mom and Jill hit up Roger Williams Zoo and the water / treehouse playground area. Love the hands on the hips while painting with water here.
Jill's musical side
and her theatrical side
Looks like they had a blast!!
So What Did You Do This Weekend?
How was your weekend? What did you do? It's an inevitable Monday morning coffee station question. And yet so many times I can't remember. "Oh, you know, hung out with the fam." Well the weekend following the 4th we said goodbye to Andrea and Kathleen in the morning and made our way to my Mom's friend's pool. Ali has a saltwater pool and two LARGE dogs, one of which enjoys taking a dip.
Sunday morning we drove to Third Beach in Newport to meet my brother, Jess and Guy and Jenny, Brian and their family. Liz, Dave and Lily were there too. We ate breakfast on the boat and swam off the back for a couple hours. This weekend was all about staying in the water as much as possible. The humidity was not pleasant so the cooler pool or ocean water was refreshing!
And of course ice cream from Somerset Creamery never hurt either!
Boat Ride with the Aunts
On July 5 (the 5-year wedding anniversary for Andrea and Chris), we took the boat out around 10 a.m. and didn't come back to the dock until 8:30 or so. It was a long but very fun day with Mel, Brian and Cole in the Cove. And it was a beautiful sunset ride in!
